LODO. Two distinct clubs share this address ­ dark, industrial 2101 and peppier, gay-and-lesbian-friendly Wave. 2101 features a mix of DJ action and live local music, resulting in a wicked blend of Goth, industrial, synth-pop, and new wave. Age minimums and covers vary by night, so call ahead. At the Wave, you'll hear Top 40, hip-hop, punk, and electronica enjoyed by a diverse crowd, proving the club's mantra that all really are welcome. The Wave is a 21+ establishment. Try both places in the same evening for a varied night of clubbing.

DOWNTOWN. Trendy beyond words, 5° offers stylish patrons a cool-retro place to cool their heels, sip a designer martini, and nosh from a small plates menu designed by Eric Roeder, Bistro Vendome's executive chef. Choose from 48 different martinis and sample tasty little morsels like Idiazabel with piquillo pepper confit, PEI mussels in saffron mustard cream sauce, pasta with duck leg confit and mushrooms in Madeira sauce. DJs keep the music going (hip hop and top 40, mostly) til the wee hours.

LODO. The only C&W dance club in lower downtown, Cowboy Lounge offers non-stop country and rock tunes, a spacious dance floor, and not-to-be-missed drink specials. Come dance the night away ­ cowboy boots and hats not required! Ladies love Wednesdays, when they pay no cover and also get free wine, well drinks, and drafts until midnight. Thursdays treat guys right with free drafts from 8pm to 11pm while Fridays and Saturdays offer free dance lessons from 8pm to 10pm. GOLDEN TRIANGLE. Sleek, vibrant La Rumba issues a call to all serious salsa dancers! Moves are intense at the club, considered one of Denver's most popular Latin dance venues. A large dance floor beckons patrons to show off the intricacy of their salsa steps, and the bar makes available a variety of martinis and microbrews. Novices are pleased to discover that free dance lessons are offered Thursdays and Saturdays for the salsa-impaired. On certain nights, other styles of music are played. LODO. This hip Union Station club and lounge offers LoDo revelers a late-night weekend party, complete with neon dance floor and sultry, bottle-service VIP area.
